Kate George

Kate began her dance training at the age of 3, and since then has seen her love and passion for dance grow into a qualified and professional teaching career. Kate is also a trained gymnast and trampolinist. With her years of training, hard work and dedication in all fields, Kate has received many awards and accolades for her excellence both on and off the stage within Australia, Macau and Canada. Versatility in all genres of dance, gymnastics and acrobatics has helped Kate excel in her own performances and choreography. Kate has competed in dance eisteddfods, performed in musicals and stage productions and has been a valuable asset to the Cairns Taipans NBL Cheer Squad since the age of 8. Kate’s qualifications include teaching in Jazz and Tap Dance (ADA), Acrobatics (Acrobatics Arts) and has completed her RAD Ballet examinations from Pre Primary to Advanced. Kate thoroughly enjoys teaching, choreographing and performing. This allows her to extend her creativity and ideas while drawing on her energetic approach to enhance the experience for all students and audience members alike. Let the show begin!

Leah Carter

Born and raised in Cairns, Leah began her dance training at the age of 4, and since then has seen her love and passion for dance grow into a professional teaching career. Leah received many accolades over the years for excellence in dance and began teaching in 2013, finding an incredibly rewarding way to pass on her passion. Leah is a qualified teacher in Classical Ballet (RAD), Jazz and Tap (ADA), Acrobatics (Acrobatic Arts) and an Xtend Barre instructor. Leah has been involved in the local dance and performance industry for over 10 years, performing as a Cairns Taipans cheerleader and choreographing for performance troupes around Cairns. With her years of experience, Leah is excited to be a partner of directing KL Performance Industry and is looking forward to sharing her knowledge and passion to create a memorable event.
